Here at the FOLD, we have strong company values that each of us carry into our own personal values. Our health, our carbon footprint, and our state of mind are all elements we continuously strive to improve. That’s why we were so excited to participate in this year’s Mercedes Benz Corporate Run. Not only was it an incredible opportunity for quality team-building time, but it was also a fun, no-pressure avenue to express our creativity. From the T-shirt design contest to the pre-race warm-up, the corporate run served as a great platform for the FOLD’s individualistic and holistic growth.
Our team couldn’t have been more excited to share in the run’s unforgettable moments like the confetti-showered 30,000-person start, the finish line teeming with pride and high-fives, and a well-deserved corona (or two) after celebratory fireworks. Not to mention the race had its own hashtag, so we were able to document our experience and find out about other companies’ time the best way we know how–social. Participating in the run provided a space for our team to make memories, form a stronger bond, and share creativity in a space unique from the office.
Although in true Thr33fold style, our “Favorite THR33FOLD Moment” weekly meeting– the Friday wind-down where we get to share our favorite FOLD moments– wasn’t inundated with stories and jokes from the race, a few certainly were, but the race did not, in fact, make up most of the highlights. Our team still had office/work moments that out-shined such a fun and carefree afternoon, which brought us all to realize, again, how lucky we are to be apart of such an incredible agency. *mic drop
